Deep beneath the surface, where light barely reaches, coral forms its own quiet world. This scarf captures that hidden sanctuary, layered hues of deep blue, sea green and violet flowing across the fabric like the shifting light of an underwater world undisturbed. Rich, mysterious and alive with texture.
Each form is drawn directly onto 100% satin-weave cotton using the traditional batik technique, hot wax applied by hand before the dye builds depth and colour around it. The satin weave catches the light with a subtle sheen that mirrors the shimmer of water, making this scarf as visually striking worn as it is held.
Wear it as a headscarf, neck wrap, shoulder throw or scarf top. Pair it with the optional Furo wooden handle and it becomes a bag. Five ways to wear one piece of wearable art.
No two scarves are ever identical. Each one is individually hand-drawn, waxed and dyed by the artist, meaning natural variations in colour and line are part of the piece, not a flaw in it.
