Join us for a fun and creative family activity at the Hampton Court Palace Feel Good Festival with our Batik Painting for Families workshop! This engaging, hands-on session invites participants of all ages to explore the traditional art of batik painting. Using the pre-wax batik design, families will have the opportunity to create their own vibrant batik, guided by our batik artist. It’s a perfect way to spend quality time together while learning a new craft and expressing your creativity. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned artist, this workshop is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for all skill levels. Plus, you'll take home your own beautiful, hand-painted batik piece as a cherished memory from the festival. Come join us for an artistic adventure at one of the most iconic venues in the UK!

What to expect:

• Introduction to batik, how it is made, and the tools & materials needed for batik canting
• Experiment with mixing colours to produce the right tone and shade
• Batik painting on your chosen pre-wax mini batik bauble / classic batik art
• All materials and tools provided
• A beautiful piece of batik art to bring home

This workshop is perfect for all skill levels—whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique. You’ll leave with your own unique, hand-painted creation and the knowledge to continue exploring batik at home.
